Aventine Senior Living is pleased to announce that it has acquired, with Palatine Capital Partners, two senior housing communities in San Antonio, Texas. The two properties are The William, previously Brookdale San Antonio, is a 142 bed assisted living and memory care community; and The Etta at Shavano Park, previously Brookdale at Shavano Park, is a 150 bed assisted living and memory care community. Aventine is now operating six communities, all of which are located in Florida, Georgia and Texas. Aventine is a senior housing operator founded in 2017 dedicated to excellence in care with a commitment to honoring tradition and family, inspiring greatness in our team, and celebrating culture.

“We are thrilled to continue expanding in Texas,” said Beverly Janco, CEO of Aventine. She added, “we believe in the Texas growth story for the foreseeable future, and how that will positively impact senior housing.” Both acquisitions represent Aventine’s strategy of targeting communities with operational value-add upside in markets that have been impacted by new supply in the short-term while having strong long-term demand dynamics.
